Wanna be 'Somebody's Hero'

She dragging her feet out of cozy bed. Her body begging to stay in bed. Her hair tangled. Her eyebrows crooked. One button were missing on her pajamas.

As she went into bathroom her body suddenly felt weak. Not feeling enough energy. She finished flushing.

She went downstairs and she keep her face positive, and with a straight face.

She observed Mike putting shoes on in the dim living room. Wondering how he get all energy. She asked him how. He replied,'I am fine. Full of energy as always in the morning.'

She kept her cool. She went around making scrambled eggs. She puts out cereal and soymilk.

Judy puts a love note in Mike's lunch box. Putting a star on her forehead telling herself she's finally done!

Waving its 'Good bye' and 'I love you' sign to him through the glass door. Off Mike drove into Woodland. Watching his truck disappearing out of sight.

She went upstairs. Opened the cage. Six dogs jumped over each other as they went rushing out of the cage's gate. The dogs ran galloping down the stairs. Upon the front door, the dogs wagging their tails. Letting the dogs outside. Out they went pooping all over the yard.

One dog has mischievously ran over to the neighbor's. With her pajamas, tangled hair, and all, she walked over to fetch her dog. Little embarrassing.

After few minutes, other five dogs and puppies along with sixth dog went back inside. They rushed up the stairs to beside the bed and waiting for master come up beside the bed to pull them up onto the master bed. They lay asleep lazily under her blanket.

She went back to sleep. Her body stopped begging. Snoozing.

Time ticking...6...7...8 o'clock. Eight o'clock! Something abrupt her rudely awake. 'Oh no, not again!' she sighed.

Rushing to flick on the boys' bedroom light. They got up, in a second. Pulled on pants. Mother helped them put coat and backpack on. Shoo them ran off to school bus stop.

She signed. Her pajamas still on. Wear blue Columbia vest to cover herself up. Patted hair to put in its place. Checking her face reflection in the videophone screen before make a call.

She calls to make doctor appointment for children's routine check-up on 26th. Opps, making a mistake. Calls doctor again, to change to 17th. Rubbing its eyes, 'What is wrong with my eyes, huh?'

She gets into the shower. While she is in shower, been there five minutes in hot steam, next second, the water became cold. she prays for each of her child, Luke and Kirk. And, the greatest of all, the strength to continue.

Out she went. Drying. Feeling good, hot, and refreshed. Once again, she still feeling weak. She dragged herself. She push herself to do around the house chores. Vacuuming, dusting, putting dirty dishes into dishwasher.
When she checks the emails. Got carried away in answering one. Forgot to check on dryer machine because it did not run drying. She did not hear it. She pushed the button again!

As she went around her tasks, she stepped on puppies' poop. That left several footprints of poop all over.

She keep her cool. Knowing Mike would refuse to scrub poops if he finds out. She had to bend down to scrub these poops all off with the removal strain sprayer.

She finally sit down. Feeling the blood flowing through vessels in her body. She busy answering emails with her laptop on top of her lap. Answering the emails right away is important part for her. Respect her clients, and friends' wishes to get answered.

Oh dear, the time has flew by! Dropped everything, She started cooking the dinner.

One by one, her boys showed up from the school bus. They sneak up behind her and plant a kiss or a hug. Her face lighted up with the smile.

From the time to time, she try hid the silence pain pinchs at her lower left body. Sometimes she groaned, try to hide the pain.

She known her hidden secret, 'anemia' Taking its 'iron pills'. Also another hidden unknown pain lower pinch. She still waiting for her surgery schedule.

As she stood in the kitchen, she felt a big hand reached down around her body. Hot breath rushing down her neck. Neck became wet. Lots of wet kisses. Down the neck. Up the cheek, all over. She has to wipe off wet from her face.

She look up and smile at her giggling face of Mike. He is finally home!

She served the dinner. Kids helped cleaned up the kitchen putting away the leftovers.

She rests. Like a queen.

Night drawn. Clock beckoning kids to bed. Mike went upstairs to sleep. She was alone. In her depth thoughts. Writing down the poem called, 'Wanna Somebody's Hero'. To enourage others that they are somebody's hero.

Yeah, you are somebody's hero. Without you, mothers, no clean clothes, no food cooking, no love notes, no doctor appointment scheduled are made, even no clean house. Mothers sacrficing their time without being paid for doing it. Out of their love and out of my love, doing it for you.

We are somebody's HERO!
